Linking system volume to itunes volume

The reason I was using this program was because it linked system volume to itunes volume. The update gets rid of this feature. Is there anyway I can download the old version?

I installed this app but it does not do anything. I restarted, I trashed it and reinstalled. No function. Am I missing something?

Version 1.1 worked fine, after updating to 1.2 the volume is not working

Hi, I am having the same problem here. I had version 1.1 and it operated fine. I could adjust the volume on my itunes with the apple remote. (iMac, Snow Leopard, itunes 11.02 26. itunes streams to my stereo through airport).
So then I downloaded the version 1.2, restart the computer, it does not work. I removed it and bought the same version again. Nothing. There is an icon in the dock, but upon clicking it nothing happens. There used to appear an icon in the menu bar in the top - left. But it does not with this version. Can you help? (I posted this earlier today but at the wrong location, sorry)

now the problem i was hoping to solve with this app just shifts from one to another place, cause it's controlling either itunes or system volume.
i'd really like to have version 1.1 back, or you add an option? either itunes or system is controlled via the buttons on the keyboard or remote OR it controls EVERYTHING at once...that would be SUPERDUPER!

When Volume for iTunes is enabled, volume level isn't displayed when volume keys are pressed. If I disable or quit VFI, everything is ok.

Can not adjust the volume of the Mac, need to leave the app ... if you get there!
Consideration should be given to include customizable keyboard shortcuts ...
This is the least that you can do to avoid the inconvenience! and disorder. .
(perso ... if I worked at Apple .. I will not validate .. but are they properly test what they offer us? .. who knows ..)

I cant install volume for iTunes why not?

when i try to install volume for iTunes it tells me to retry... again and again...?

Since it's a free app, why not make it open source, say on github? I'd like to tweak it

The tweak I'd make is keeping the default behavior of the volume controls -- i.e., adjusting only the system volume -- but adding a shift-volume that adjusts only the iTunes volume (and possibly a shift-alt that adjusts both). (Note that alt-volume control opens the system preference)

Another tweak is that it could adjust the application volume for whatever is playing audio -- not just iTunes. So if VNC is playing, it adjusts that. If Spotify is playing, it adjusts (only) that, etc.

How to hide the icon in the status bar?

Better tweak worked without a trace, like a demon, and it can be shut down as a process
